  • this is what's left of the piece of wood my dad made can't tell you how many decades ago. it's the address to the house i grew up in in the bronx. it sits on a shelf in my office in los and the beat up 8" sculpture of rodin's, "the thinker" i gave my folks for a present one year a long, long time ago.

    they are the only things i wanted when we cleared out the house and sold it. don't know why these are the only things i wanted but they are.

    i'll leave it be a mystery. mysteries are cool.

    maybe someday it'll all come flashing into my consciousness why.

    can tell you when i look at these it brings a bit of home home. maybe that's enough.

    p.s. if you look in the back you can see a piece of my collection of dvd's. ancient stuff really considering the new media available these days...all terrific movies though...

    wonder if anyone will want them when i'm gone...

    p.p.s. finished first draft of a play today. nice to have this forum to decompress in...used to be it was dark nights and a bit of depression that accompanied completion and success...
