  • It was snowy and windy in Siglufjörður yesterday, when we did the last shopping before the holidays. Tonight we start the Christmas celebrations over here, we eat the Christmas meal, give and get presents, and enjoy being with our friends and families. At least many of us are fortunate enough to be able to do so. Let’s not forget those who are not in that position. Those who are alone, far away from home, sick, in prison, migrants etc.

But with this photo I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thank you as well for a good year here on Cowbird. I’m glad it is possible to keep it alive in spite of all the competition it is facing from other blog sides, Twitter, Facebook etc.
