  • I went outside to breathe the dark last night
I saw Sister Moon looking down on Mother Earth.....
    Her tears bursting
a thousand crystal lights wrapped around our Mother
I could hear their conversation whispered though it was...

These Beings you have given home to seem to be so cruel
I do not understand your love for them
they kill for profit and for sport
they buy and sell the fruit of your ripeness
always the highest bidder no matter what the cost
    they show you no respect
for all you give so freely
    they poison my oceans
    and fracture to your heart
    I can't bear it
it hurts too much to see

Mother Earth as she is known to do
sends back reflections of Her love to Sister...

    Do not worry Sister Moon
    together we can evict them
    an experiment gone all wrong
    maybe they hear my notice
can feel it in the winds
see how the tides are rising
wake in time from dreamless slumber
    find the wisdom to coexist
    end the suffering they inflict
    share in all I give
each day a chance for new beginnings
to see once more all of me and mine as sacred

    We can hope
always hope they find their way to love...
