  • It's mid-November. Still six more months until mid-May. Yet...

When I woke up the temperature was 60ºF. It had rained much of the night so the air smelled fresh and felt moist when I stepped outside. And the grass! It has that delicious bright green color of spring.

It smells, feels, and looks like a morning in mid-May rather than a morning in mid-November. Except for a few significant details....
~ No leaves on the trees.
~ Christmas lights on the house across the street.
    ~ Four hours less daylight.
~ The temperature will be dropping throughout the day.
~ Snow is predicted for tomorrow.

Time to go for a walk.
