  • I have come to know that the emotions of the cook find their way into our food...

    There is a neighborhood restaurant I have frequented for many years because I can feel the love of the cook in my lunch! And I find it so nourishing.

    There have only been a few times when that palpable sense of nourishment has not been there.

    I suspect it's when there's a new cook who has not yet fully internalized the agenda of the restaurant's owner.

    And...I have also learned to counterbalance when I am not able to choose the cook.
