  • There she went. In the silence of the night, in her own terms. By herself, lest anyone suffer at her departure from this earth. I can feel her heart reaching out to daddy, anxious to finally get there, travelling in the light, through the light.

    And finally she does. She falls, no, clumsily stumbles into his loving arms. She knew he would be there, waiting, as he waited every day for the last eleven years.

    They are young again, carefree, and, after 77 years, as much in love as the first day she saw him, "looking like a prince", when she was only fifteen.

    And so it goes, and so it goes
