  • The city of Toronto is hosting the Pan American games but it's hard to celebrate when so much money is being wasted instead of helping the under served communities in the city. Organized by the Ontario Coalition Against Poverty, this direct action and march to the Athletes' Village makes the following demands:

    • Housing for all

    • More shelter beds

    • End gentrification

    • End targeted and racist policing

Listen to these ladies provide context for why we are here today (audio)

"A little less Kanye, a little more social housing."

March starts at St James Park and occupied the Athletes' Village at the Distillery District, Toronto.
