  • A young woman came to my Saturday Meditation yesterday: " I am J," she introduced herself," I am on a Sabbatical traveling around the world. Years ago I arrived in Thailand just before the Tsunami and miraculously did not die. Ever since I think a lot about Death. I have made a testament and when I die I will donate all my organs, just my eyes I just cannot decide to donate. I want so SEE Death, what it is, how it is and am afraid - probably stupidly so - that without my physical eyes I will not be able to. I went to your gallery yesterday and fell in love with your art. I read about the meditations and want to try. I have never meditated before. But most importantly: I read about your eyesight and I want you to convince me that it is also okay, and I will still be able to SEE Death, if I donate my eyes...."

What would you have answered her?
