  • I take pictures of my kitchen sink, pretty much every day. Pictures of dirty dishes, pictures of soapy water, pictures of kitchen scraps. I guess it's kind of weird, when I write it all out like that.

    Anyhow... tonight, for the first time, I took a picture of a pretty frequent occurence in my kitchen: A cat in the sink.

    He loves vegetables, like kale (shown here), avocado, squash guts, and green beans. He also loves anything made with coconut oil, including most of my soups and stews. So he sneaks into the sink whenever I walk out of the room, looking for a snack.

    Tonight, he was pretty bold. I was chopping kale for kale chips, and he quietly inched across to the sink while I was preoccupied with a knife.
