  • It was a rainy early morning in Fredericton NB and on my morning walk I found this rail bridge that has been converted to a walking bridge.

The structure of the bridge with its repeating patterns, the shine of the rain on the path and the walker with his umbrella with the bright spots of colour all pull the eye to the end of the tunnel on the far side.

A structure that you would normally think of as a hard object becomes softened by the rain and soft light.

This image for me evokes a sense of peace and quietness.
