  • The preparation is just as important as the event. This encounter reminded me that every job is just as important as the next!

    I saw this man bringing out and setting up chairs at the Phoenix Public Market a couple of Fridays ago. I vividly remember what he told me when my classmates and I asked him for an interview for our class project. He had spotted us walking around and had excitedly offered to help grab some of his coworkers to talk to us. He himself had said, "I can't be on camera, I have too much work to do." He had to set up the chairs. And thankfully for the hundreds of hungry customers milling around downtown Phoenix sampling the food truck offerings, the chairs were set and the tables dressed. Thank heavens for the chairs! (And the friendly men who set them up). :-)
