  • When I decided to take on the role of being a parent I was very excited! Especially when the person I was with was just as excited as I was. Well things changed and people changed. Now I'm considered what the statistic would call a "baby momma."

I've been raising my one year old daughter by myself from the time she was born. Yes it is twice the work, twice the struggle, and twice the tears. And the reason I say tears is because when you are trying to do your best by your child and you come across an obstacle, you start feeling like you've failed your child or you're not being a good parent -- especially when the other parent isn't around but says things to try to put you down and hurt your feelings.

Since I've had my daughter I've hit some rough times, but it made me stronger and I bounced back quick.
