  • I hadn't been for a walk around the neighborhood to photograph the blooming trees and flowers yet, and it was really past the prime of the pink dogwood. I stopped to talk with a neighbor who introduced me to a new neighbor that I hadn't met yet. I asked the new neighbor if he wanted to trade houses with me as I had always liked his house. He wanted to know how my lake view was and I told him it was better than his. I think we will talk again about this possibility when he and his wife retire and move here full time. The other neighbor asked if I'd seen his butterfly garden yet, I said no, so we headed for his yard. I told him I would bring him some seeds for milkweed and butterfly weed.   • I was so excited that I ran home to see them on my computer, and I never did get around the neighborhood to photograph the flowers. Telephoto lens was used for all photos. The one on the last page has been played with in graphics program.
