  • Earlier I took a photo for your experiment but it was too early so I waited. The story I had written in my head before is gone now. Right now I am thinking about the red rain boots are sitting next to me, drying off because outside it is wet and chilly. It's nothing to complain about, this winter has been more like spring with warm 50 degree days and plenty of sunshine.

The truth is, my shoes, whatever shoes I happen to be wearing that day, are always sitting next to me in the afternoon after lunch. I have a pair of felted slippers to flip-flop around the office. I don't like wearing shoes inside because my favorite way to work is with my legs pulled up, cross-legged underneath my desk. And you can't sit cross-legged in a chair with red rain boots on.
