  • That Kate come over in the middle of my already short day. Though the visit was not completely unexpected, I had been keeping one foot stepping out the door of commitment until this morning. We made a trade. Wisdom for wisdom. My day for hers. She taught me (for the third time) how to silk string beads and I read her cards. We found answers to her prayers and somehow my own. I was reminded of how good it feels to help a friend find clarity and find my own in the process. This IS the purpose I seek. The small gestures that ripple through time and space as our creations become manifest. A difference has been made through a few simple questions of some very "Intrikate Designs".
