  • We met when I was fourteen and he was twenty. We both loved music, we were both sensitive souls, we both -mistakenly- thought the other was beyond our reach.
It was the first time in my life I felt akin to someone, on a level somehow deeper, intangible, spiritual.
He had a girlfriend, I was very young. We lost sight of each other.
Ten years later we met again at a party his sister had invited me to. We had both suffered heartbreak and long years of loneliness. He was a father of two, I was struggling to be a writer. But nothing had changed.
He has now been my companion for eleven years, three of which as the father of my child.
