  • There are only two square dancing clubs left in NYC, and one was founded by/for gay men during the height of the AIDS crisis -- three decades ago.

    The men -- now in their 60s -- are still going strong. (Their club, The Times Squares, celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2014.) But now square dancing is in danger of "dying" out.

    The men of The Times Squares club are doing their best to keep this American folk tradition alive in an unlikely place: NYC's West Village.
