  • Love...I have pondered this four letter word for some time and have concluded there is no right or wrong answer when it comes to matters of the heart. Paul defines it as patient, kind, generous, and sincere which teaches humility and mutual courtesy.
My own experience has proven Paul's theory, as well as established a deeper understanding and possibly evened the scales between my emotions and my faith.
I believe love embraces all of our senses. Love sees, and feels, and hears, and smells. It is conveniently equipped with rose colored glasses, ear plugs and a continuous supply of tissue. Love is sensitive, physical, mental and deeply spiritual. Love accepts the reality, and pushes us to defend the lies. And when in this euphoric trance, it has been known to alter ones perception by creating, false illusions of a totally misunderstood fairytale.
The heightened pulse is a rather bothersome side effect, as I've noticed the racing sound of my heart, temporarily alters my hearing and sometimes clouds my judgment. I have even noticed shortness of breath that apparently has contributed to me choking on my own words. Yet, somehow it always protects, always hopes, always grows. Love never quits and never stops....
