  • The excitement of coming home with your new fish tank,
Choosing where in your space to put it for the best view,
Creating a little home with a ship that has sank,
Selecting the right ornaments, so bright and new,
Arranging the objects to form a balance in the blank space,
Arranging the heat, pumps and even the light,
Plants being placed as the first organism in the small dead square case,
Finally adding water as the main element of life,
Releasing the fish for their very first time,
Sitting down to see what you have created,
Gazing for hours just watch them mime,

Seeing your reflection in the organised, filled glass,
The thought of what the fish see looking back at you,
Realising what this space gives is so much more vast,
The ambiance created in the room through and through,
    Both parties amused for hours,
Figuring that both sides of the dividing glass are symbolized,
The colours, lighting, tranquility and balancing powers
The double sided atmosphere is realised.
A little fish tank placed on a shelf is actually an architecture in itself.
