  • We were sitting at a restaurant in Johannesburg, South Africa. My daughter, Mia, who is just 3 years old was rambling on about the things she likes and the things she does at playschool and I, ever the diligent Dad, was shooting off a few pictures, capturing life. Suddenly Mia grew serious and around a mouthful of food she asked, “Dad… When I grow up, will I be good?”
And in that instant I saw her as the beautiful woman she will undoubtedly be.
