  • The smoke filled his lungs and made him cough. Where was he? His eyes watered at the ash in the air. Was there a volcano? He didn't remember there being an explosive volcano anywhere close to his castle. He opened his eyes to see that his vision was blurred. he rubbed them, then looked around. He was in a small room. There was glass on one side meaning that someone could be watching him. He pulled his laser out of his lab coat then started blasting away at the glass. He got a few panes down until he heard a voice he knows very well, sadly.
"You might not want to do that." He heard the Swedish accent then saw his rival walking into his line of vision. "Robin..." He hissed out his name. "Where am I, and how did I get here?" Robin laughed his small, but threatening, giggle. "Why I captured you Lucas. While you were sleeping. Did you ever notice that you mutter weird science-y things in your sleep? I knew you were insane but I didn't think you were that insane." Lucas rubbed his mining laser. "Why can't I shoot this? Is there something I might trigger?" He asked the mage.
"Look behind you and you'll see why you might want to keep your hands off the trigger. Lucas glanced behind him to see a large stack of dynamite. Of course, the laser triggers fire and fire lights dynamite...
"I demand you let me out this instant!" Lucas ordered the magic bearing boy. Robin didn't comply. "Look scientist we can do this the easy way or the hard way. I prefer the easy way. But the hard way I wouldn't mind watching." Lucas huffed. "First tell me them, or else I will not follow and I will explode this place and you'll go down with me." Robin laughed once more. "Look, you're the one that put that nuke under my base, and now Zephyr is gone. Well, alive, but she is in the medical bay thanks to you, she could have died. Is that what you wanted scientist? If so, I hope if I explode this place to the moon, you die with your sick pleasure. " Lucas blinked. "It exploded? I-I'm sorry Robin." Robin glared at him adjusting the mask he wore to cover his mouth. "Sorry? Everyone knows you aren't sorry. You are just a sick scientist that just almost killed the one I love and now I shall terminate you like you almost did to Zephyr!" He reached his hand for the switch, but then remembered the real reason he captured Lucas. "Um, sorry I acted like that. I'm going to tell you the real reason I brought yo-" "Captured." "Whatever, captured you and brought you here. I wanted to make a treaty. Like a peace treaty. To stop the war between science and magic throughout the lands for as long as our demi-god protects it." Lucas pondered. "So, this means that you won't kill me. That's good. I will accept your treaty as long as I can get out of this cage." Robin muttered. "You aren't doing this just so you can get out are you?"
Lucas gulped. "N-no. I accept the treaty for real. To prove it I will even draw blood for it." Robin looked disgusted. "Uh, no. Let's just shake." So the two rivals shook hands and magic and science wars subsided throughout the land.
