  • I desperately want to be a scientist
    A rational, logical, believer
of Only the Tangible, and phenomenal
    Disregarding the ephemeral.

But then, I have days like this
    Miscommunications everywhere.
Where every word is a thorn
    Every glance is forlorn.

    Bruised egos
    Heavy hearts
    Prickly expressions on every face
I huff and puff out of every place.

I want to be so intellectually conceited
That even on days like this,
I would never look up my horoscope
And find solace in mercury's retrograde.

Feb 11, I eagerly await you.
