  • Sitting here thinking how the past year was filled with memorable experiences and teachers…

I felt an instant kinship with many new people who came into my life…
Some came and went quickly, others have stayed long enough so that we are experiencing change together…
    walking together for a while…
    sometimes holding hands
sometimes on the other side of the canyon

I have been blessed with people who lift me higher....
as well as those who challenge me...
I cherish my band of exquisite friends
and I'm blessed with love of family
the birth ones and the other ones..

I look at the people in my life and I am amazed by the incredible wealth of knowledge and experience they are willing to share…
they are a kaleidoscope of love and wisdom...
    each with their own dance
    they are open
    you are open
    dancing your own dance
    a kaleidoscope
    I love your colors
    I love your honesty
your inspired vision of the world
    you willingness to give..
    to help
    to love :-)
    to cry..
    to laugh..

    And I believe in us
    I have hope
    that things are changing
    in this dream
    will change for the better
    that we are changing
    seeing clearly our connectedness

What befalls one of us befalls us all...

    I believe women will surface
    in all our glorious femininity
we will wash the world with our cleansing tears
    and men.....
safe in their masculinity will invite us in...
    the yin and yang
    will come together
    together we are imaginative enough
    care enough
    love enough
    can be strong enough
    are inspired enough
to do right action for our children's children

    I believe
    we will believe... …
    and if we do
    the Tribe will gather
    we are gathering
    the Tribe is us….
    and we are brilliant..
    star bright
    and capable of miracles
    if we don't
    if we don't come together
if we don't come together like yesterday
    the consequences are quite unimaginable
