  • Every year, the heightening of senses all around is felt. People's internal orbits tilting slightly askew as their psyches ramp up for the inevitable overload that the holiday's bring.

    Some call it energy and a sense of overall goodwill.

    I see it mostly as a carefully controlled spiral into madness that only ends when bows are tied, and then untied. Decorations met with approval and then summarily dismembered.

    And emotions get strewn about, each trying to make their way back to their pair.

    Madness.
