  • My life has become dictated by pills. Migraine medication, anti-inflammatory prescriptions, allergy drugs. I can’t make it through the day without a fix on one of these. Perhaps it’s the seasonal shift that makes the air feel heavier, the smell of wet leaves that incites my head to pound. The dead smell of snow and the filtered half-light of December afternoons should lend me a bit of rest.
