  • I simply love barns, which is a good thing since there must be seven or more on the farm. On this cold winter's day, a barn is a cheery spirit sitting still without complaint. On a hot summer's day, the very same barn invites me in to share secrets in its cool, dark space.

    There is so much going on in my head that getting centered seems out of reach. That's when it is time to focus on the barn and just watch it. The occasional barn swallow will sail by but for the most part, nothing will change in the moment except the clouds above. Everything will change over time.

    Blue, white, red, the hazel of winter green, and a glint of silver and gold. Perfection on the farm.
