  • The Arctic Blast hit Boulder on Monday, as I woke up to 67 degrees which dropped to 37 within one hour. On Tuesday it was in single digits. I can't say that it was a bad week to stay home and wait for November 14, 2014.

In a few minutes, at 11:14, I will give birth to my first book, Twin Stories Cuentos Gemelos, Stories of Love and Magic in Two Languages. Just like any birth, the anticipation was killing me. I went from total confidence to "it's time to forget about this silly project". From meditative states to pulling out my hair.

But today, the sun is out and the temperature when I awoke was a balmy ten degrees. The winter landscape smiles at me. The moon will rise much later, the last quarter moon, a time to release, let go, give birth. But I won't wait til then. I am ready at 11:14 to give the publisher the final go ahead.

    Ready.

    Lista.
