  • Ernesto “Che” Guevara. He is my hero. He is my inspiration.

He was born into a wealthy family, but at a young age he discovered the daily

challenges his fellow Latin brothers and sisters faced. He saw the hunger, the thirst,

the fear, and the constant abuse brought upon by poverty. He saw a fragmented

Latin America. So one day, he left his money and his privileged life behind, and

spent the rest of his life fighting for an equal and united Latin America.

His words and ideals inspire me because what he fought for is what I want. An equal

    Latin America united as one.

I want a future where prospering does not depend on weather you have money or

not, but rather on your hard work and commitment. I want a future where there are

no classes, just people working together for a better life. I want a Latin America

where you are not Mexican, or Cuban, or Colombian, but just a LATINO.

From this day forward I will do everything I can in order to achieve this dream. To

leave a better home for those who will come when I am gone. Because in the future,

when we are all united as one, what a world it will be.
