  • They say they feel invisible
    the homeless and the hungry
the ones who have fallen thru the cracks
    or climbed on down outside
sometimes the worlds just too harsh

    We judge and separate
    they're just too unkept
    a little scary too
and they must have brought it on themselves
    something we would never do

and maybe something natters that they could be me
and if I simply walk on by
    maybe they don't exist
because the sight of them glitches something in my mind
how can a land so rich have so many with so little

we act as if it's catchy
and in this trickle down society
    maybe it sort of is

we should be outraged but we're not
we should give them voice or use our own
    but we don't
we sign a pact you and me
    we give them invisibility
