  • A silent breath took me away

And there I held it for it was my last

    A heart beat away

    Tears flood my eyes

And dropped as if it was lead

My heart wretched to squeeze that

Breath I desperately held to my chest

And here I have lost everything

Like the tears of lead that squeezed

    Me dry

    And I stood without fluids

    To keep me alive

    Like going through the desert

    With only my bare heart

    And no breath

To give my heart a beat

    Because here I have nothing

    But pain and hurt

    I stood quietly

    And waiting

    Until I dropped

    To my knees

    To find I was alone

    Once more

And not even that silent breath

    That held so preciously

    To my chest

    Was there

    To save me
