  • It was an unseasonably warm day in in South Jersey. The temperature went up to 14 degrees celcius. In the afternoon I sat outside on my deck eating grapes from a bowl with my 4 month old daughter on my lap. Grapes are always out of season in NJ but especially during the winter months. They were crispy and quite sour but I'm a sucker for grapes. As I sat in the deck chair I watched Alexandra suck on her fist as I held her tiny feet in my hands. I gave her a taste of my grape and I think she enjoyed it. A change from the breastmilk she loves to eat. I fell in love with her a little more today. It was a great day.
