  • We went to visit our son in Bristol where he was studying Chemistry.

He took us for a walk up a hill overlooking the suspension bridge, as we entered a wood my son said.
"You have to be careful of the squirrels here Mum, they have been known to attack people,"

My husband and son then left me sitting on a bench whilst they climbed the stairs of a very tall tower to enjoy a wider vista.

As I sat there a squirrel scurried near to my bench and sat watching me. I froze. Would he attack?

When my son finally returned to me I said.
"I'm so glad you're here. That squirrel looks very fierce."
    He burst out laughing.
"Mum it was just a joke. why did you believe me?"
"Because you are my son. I said."
