  • No, I didn't do anything fast, as in quick, I am trying fasting or going without food for 24 hours. It's a practice in Eastern philosophy and yoga. Though the monks usually use it for spiritual upliftment and to break the bondage of the body, I was doing it for health reasons. Going on a water diet every once in a while is known to have good health benefits, so I decided to try this out once. In India, it is called Ekadashi, in Buddhism it is called Uposatha. Even Catholics and Muslims fast, though I don't know what it is called in these faiths.

Still only 12 hours through and 12 more to go. Let's see if I can make it.
