  • " I am from the state of Talxcala," said the woman," My parents and grandparents are all small campesinos. My mother called me today and told me that she had visited my grandpa in his village. This year the crop was extremely good and rich said my grandpa. My mother inspected all the fine corn he had. Then she became a little sad and shook her head wondering: If the earth has given you such a good crop, the earth must be hungry. The earth needs to be nourished and fed. Someone has to die soon and feed the earth!"

My grandpa is in his nineties. The next day he felt weak and said that his heart was racing. Three days later he died .

He died to feed the good earth!"
