  • War and the rumors of war.

The puppet master delights himself as he pulls our strings. He knows how to push our buttons. He knows how to enrage us. He watches us scream in outrage. We react without thinking. We want revenge. We want justice. We want strong leadership (For America, it means a tough, no-nonsense, macho John Wayne, Dirty Harry hero-type in the White House).

We don't care that 9-11 might have been an inside job, a set up. We don't care that the NeoCons wanted to get rid of Saddam Hussein since the Clinton Administration and that they used the nation's pain of 9-11 to get their way. We don't care that the NeoCons are now whispering in Romney's ear...

The "devil" is at work. He turns Black against White, poor against rich, young against old, women against men, straight against gays and Muslim against Christian.

The United States has lost over 6,570 troops to war since 9-11. Thousands more came home maimed and scarred. IED's has turned their brains to mush. PTSD wards in vet clinics are overflowing.

Racist militia's that seek to overthrow the government are embedded in our military. Bigoted filmmakers make disgusting film propaganda to incite violence. Leading political figures doubt the legitimacy of the Obama presidency.

Yet, the war drums beat louder and we, the people, dance to the beat.

If the American flag was lowered to half-staff once a day for every soldier, sailor, marine and airmen that died since 9-11, it would take 18 years before the flag could be raised again to its normal position.

Oh, how we love to make war... on ourselves.
