  • Mia is 5 years old and has Spastic diplegia a form of cerebral palsy which affects her muscles tone. She can't walk, stand up or sit, but she can speak, scream to the top of her lungs and make anybody laugh with her sense of humor. She needs assistance with everything except eating and basic skills with the hands. She can't crawl but she has found an unusual way of moving thru the house while rolling her body and using her hands and feet. I'm her father and I hope that someday she will be able to walk and as part of her treatment she will begin Yoga with a mix of contact improvisation. I dedicate this Story to my wife that's been with Mia every single day and has paused her dreams and aspirations in order to take care of her.
