  • Conspiracy theories.

There are a lot of nuts out there. And I am one of them. Yep, the 911 attacks were the result of a very detailed, elaborate conspiracy. The question best asked is, “Which conspiracy theory should we believe?” Was it al Qaeda and Osama bin Laden? Was it a false flag U.S. government operation? Or was it implemented by someone else?

    We’ll probably never know.

One thing is clear to me, as I read official documents, truther blogs and view 9/11 documentaries, the countervailing winds of debate, suppositions and accusations has produced a cross current of confusion and murkiness. My research so far has led me down paths of insane speculations and wild assertions. Those that support the official findings use science to explain physical anomalies. Conversely, opponents also use science to say the exact opposite.

One thing is clear, September 11, 2001 was an unusual day. As far as I know, it was the first and only time commercial jet airliners crashed with such impact that they were demolished to tiny bits. (I’ve never seen a plane crash. But from photos of other aviation disasters, I have concluded that the 9/11 crashes were abnormal... to say the least.)

I call the phenomena “tragic magic”. We are to believe that 4 jet airliners disintegrated upon impact. The buildings in New York City, the Pentagon in DC and an open field in Pennsylvania swallowed the planes whole, wings and all. As far as I know, such devastation has not been duplicated. Other airliners have crashed since 9/11 but large chunks of the planes were recoverable.

Yeah I am a nut. Spending value time on this stuff is wasteful. Paranoid delusions can set in. It would be easy to imagine a sinister plot to use the events of 9/11 as a reason to go to war. It would also be easy think that CIA and NSA agents are spying on me. I am sure half the stuff I find on the Internet is a product of a disinformation program designed to suppress nagging questions.

One thing is clear. The families of the victims of 9/11 had to force the Bush Administration to conduct an investigation. It was the worst security failure in our nation’s history, yet no one was held accountable.

In the end, I am not sure who to believe. Do you believe me?
