  • A few months ago I arranged to have my writing group arrange themselves in an interesting formation to take a photo.

One member of the group went to the trouble of asking the pub customers to move their cars so that we had a clear view of Charlies behind us. I showed the person with the camera how to frame us as well as the pub. I am standing on the right.

I thought the photo showed us as interesting looking characters.

One person did not agree and insisted that another photo be taken for our publicity shots. He thought he looked a bit of a mess in my photo.

Last week the secretary sent out an email telling people to dress smartly if they wanted to be in the photo. I dressed for a change in a skirt and jacket. Most other people had not bothered to dress differently.

I am standing in a red and white skirt to the left of the group. I think my photo was better.

    Its annoying getting annoyed.
