  • He is three and a half years old, and he has had a rough day at preschool. There is a boy there who is tougher and meaner, and he wants to be approved and liked by him. He wants to be a boy that fights, kicks, punches and says cool and mean things. But he also wants to be a boy that loves princesses, and cuddles, and to arrange cake-parties for his squinkies. I guess growing up can be challenging.

When he got home from preschool today he was in a bad mood. He threw a bakugan-ball in my head, real hard. Then he threw a plastic bottle at me. As I fended it off, it fell behind the sofa. He wanted help to get it up from there, so he could throw it at me again. When no one wanted to give it to him, he got more and more frustrated and angry.

Then his dad said: Come with me Folke, let's go into the playroom, and you can throw as many stuffed animals at me as you like.
