  • Maybe twins are forever, or perhaps "forever" is just longer than any of us care to pay attention. The twins I see are made of stone, ground by the grain through elemental assaults; almost microscopic and across decades...centuries.

    I look at their feet and see their pieces laying in piles.

    Bits of twin, broken, cracked, strewn. Eventually one will fall, leaving one. That one will soon follow, falling headless. Silent while their bodies continue to decay.

    Two become one then become One with everything again. I hope they'll reconstitute. I hope they'll slowly gather their elements and grow to two. It would be good to sit at their feet, listen to their whispers and learn all the lessons One has to offer.
