  • I always hated Valentines Day as it seemed very artificial and taxing on the loveless or shall I say coupleless. Three years ago in a moment of piece and quiet my son snuck downstairs and snorted his Seroquel. He had been sober for 18 months and who knows what craziness occurred to make Seroquel so appealing.

Two years ago we celebrated his one year anniversary on Valentine's Day, this year it was his two year anniversary.

He plays Bach on the piano again.

    He has real friends.

He is a warm and loving grandson,

He is a loved and loving son that we enjoy,

Mostly not always he is happy.

He is however always proud of his sobriety!

Valentine's Day was his day to be born as a real person that shows up in life

With this and with him I, we, all are in love with him

He is always loved but now it is easier to celebrate it and share it .... sobriety is life
