  • Ham El-Waylly, 29, was born in Doha, Qatar, to a Bolivian mother and an Egyptian father. He works as a chef at Sauce, an Italian comfort food restaurant in Manhattan. He and his wife, Sohla El-Waylly, a Bengali American woman raised in Los Angeles, plan to open a restaurant featuring the traditional dishes they grew up eating.
